Elavon Virtual Merchant

We are considering changing our credit card processor. We are looking at using Elavon Clear and Simple. Part of there offering is the Elavon Virtual Merchant. They do not list Shopsite as a supported shopping cart. Are there plans to add support for this vendor? if not, can I implement this into my online store.

If they can emulate the Authorize.net interface then you may be able to use the emulator which was added in ShopSite 11 sp2. Other than that there is no way to integrate it with ShopSite. It typically takes a number of weeks of a developers time to implement and test a new payment method so unless there is a lot of demand for the gateway or someone is willing to pay the cost of development new gateways aren't generally added.
