Coupon without free shipping.

Postby Metolius Climbing » Fri May 24, 2013 9:31 am

So we have been using the coupon code at 50% off and another at 40% off to sell to qualified customers at discount pricing. But we would like to give retail customer the incentive of free shipping and somehow exclude people with this these coupons from this additional discount. Any suggestions?

Also we have a couple items that are very expensive to ship and I wondered it there is a way to exclude these items from free shipping. I guess a handling charge could be one option.

There is not a way to exclude free shipping from orders that have coupons assigned to them.
You can limit an order to a single coupon per order. If you have your free shipping as a free shipping coupon then the shopper would be able to use either a free shipping coupon or a %off coupon but not both.

I don't think there is any way to exclude certain products from free shipping. You could always configure the product's "No Shipping Charges:" field to exclude it from shipping entirely and then include the shipping cost either in the base price or in order options if there are a couple of different methods that it could be ship.
