US Zip code field box if country different

Hi,

If someone from outside of US wants to purchase a product from my web site and he/she comes to the Shopping Cart Page and starts Checking OUt process, the US Zip Code box is displayed, even though the person selected some other country.

Please advise.

If your shopping cart is using a feature which requires the zip code field then it must display. Those features include: tax by zip code, UPS, USPS, FedEx, and free shipping. The best thing to do so that your international customers are not confused is change the text. For example, you can change it to “Zip / Postal Code” (Preferences > Store Text > Shopping Cart).
