Text entry filed for Products

Is there a filed I can use for text entry that can be included with the order download?

Ideally, this field can be hidden on the website and the order confirmation emails but only visible on the excel file when I download the orders.

I tried with Product type, Quickbook Item name, Weight, Dimensions but none of them works.

I appreciate any help!

I assume that "filed" is suppose to be field?

How is this field going to be populated if it isn't going to be on the website or confirmation emails?

You can get a list of all the possible fields for orders by going to Utilities > Database > Download > select Orders and click the Download. The resulting tab delimited file will contain all possible fields that can be in an order. If you can find one there that you can put your information in then all you need to do is populate the information in a hidden field in your store.

One possible option would be the Custom Checkout fields (available in Pro level stores only). You would need to create the html to make the field hidden but make it displayed on the merchant copy of the receipt or it probably wouldn't get into the order. The custom Checkout fields are configured on Commerce Setup > Order System > Checkout screen.
