Does the amazon checkout work with the normal shopping cart page, or does it require new intermediate page?

Is it possible to put amazon checkout on the credit card drop-down?

I am not entirely certain what you are asking here, but I can tell you that the Checkout By Amazon button will appear on the first page of your shopping cart. So there is no intermediate page (unlike previous Google Checkout integrations).

Our integration with Checkout By Amazon currently requires that it be listed as its own button and not within a drop down list. I did not make the integration so I cannot be sure, but this might be because it requires the customer to log in to their Amazon account before continuing to checkout. Once the customer has logged in, it will take them to the second page of the ShopSite checkout. There the boxes specific to Checkout By Amazon will be displayed within your ShopSite Checkout page. You can see this process if you go to the URL below and pretend like you are going to purchase a support incident:

In Shopsite's setup instructions it looks exactly like the old Google requirements:

"The pre-shopping cart screen only allows a customer to select which checkout process to use. It does not include shipping or tax selection options available on the standard ShopSite shopping cart screen. Selecting Checkout by Amazon will open a pop-up window to the Checkout by Amazon site, which will prompt the shopper to login using their Amazon credentials. Selecting the standard Checkout button will allow shoppers to checkout using the standard ShopSite checkout process, starting with the shopping cart screen."

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. That is a documentation error which we will be addressing. The pre-shopping cart screen was an old option for Google Checkout, but is not found in the most current versions of ShopSite.
