Remove "X" or Button for Mini-Cart?

Is it possible to have an "x" or remove button on the mini-cart?

I don't think that you can remove items from the shopping cart from the minicart. The data from the shopping cart is saved in a cookie which is read by the minicart code to display on the store pages. The only thing you might be able to do would be remove the cookie so the content isn't displayed in the minicart but that isn't going to remove products from the cart.
