RE: Add to Cart - Order Anywhere, do not go to Cart

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to use the Add to Cart button via the Order Anywhere, but not have it go to the shopping cart automatically -- basically add the product, but stay on the current page.

If you have a Pro level ShopSite store there are settings on Commerce Setup > Order System > Shopping cart called
Default for the "Show me my shopping cart" checkbox
Do not display the "Show me my shopping cart" check box

By configuring those settings you can have the add to cart put the item in the cart but not display the cart. You will need to have a separate view cart button so the the shopper can get to the cart to continue the checkout process once they have added everything to the cart.

This functionality is not in the Manager or Starter levels of ShopSite.

Thanks, I found that. However, it doesn't seem to matter what I check or uncheck -- it doesn't change the code for the order anywhere (html, embed or url) and so it still will go to the shopping cart. What am I doing wrong?
