# of items in cart

I saw originally that there was a line that said "You have X items in your cart", or something similar to this. Since I have uploaded my template this is gone - which is fine - but how would I plug this into my template? I can put the text in, but how do I call the # of items?

There is a mini shopping cart that can be added to store pages. That is probably where you got the line "you have x items in your cart". You have to include the minicart.js file and then the tag [-- MiniCart --] displays the minicart where you want it. It can be used to give 4 different looks to the minicart.
