Free Shipping on International Customers

Is it possible to offer Free Shipping to International Orders over $799 using USPS Priority mail shipping options? I created a coupon code free799. The code actually works but the shipping option still has an amount. In addition, I also have an existing code for Free Ground shipping for US order over $75 which actually worked for UPS Ground.

With free shipping, you can only specify one shipping option that the free shipping is used on. If you are already using free shipping on UPS Ground, then you can't use free shipping on USPS Priority. Its one or the other.

I don't believe that Priority Mail can go International, I think there is a special international Priority Mail International that is used for international shipments. Since only one shipping option can be designated as "free shipping" you would not be able to have both the Priority Mail and Priority Mail International as free shipping coupon options.

You could configure the regular Free Shipping for over 799 to be used for the countries you want to allow free shipping to. That would be based on the total order and would not require a coupon. Once the shopper has more than 799 in the cart a Free Shipping option would appear and would be selected but all other shipping options would also still be available.

If a Free Shipping Coupon is applied then the shipping for that method would be set to 0.00. If there are other products in the cart to which the coupon doesn't apply then the "free shipping" amount would be subtracted from the total shipping amount.
