how do you export images from one shopsite to another? Or how do you save images from back office so you can upload them to another shopsite?

The easiest way is to use ftp if you have ftp access to your server. There are ftp applications that run in your browser to make it quite easy to use.

If you don't have ftp access you can go to the images screen select a bunch of images and click the View Images, which will display them all on the same page. Then under your browsers File menu there should be a Save Page As option which will place the entire page on your local machine typically with all images in a single directory.

It is also possible that you could use the wget command line executable available on some operating systems to retrieve the files. for more info on it see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wget or do a web search for wget.
