The Products Upload was aborted.

I am using the demo version of ShopSite - ability to import products is essential to my choice of cart.

I have formatted my file correctly, according to documentation - it is tab-delimited txt, with tab field separater and "|" (pipe) item separator.
Have also tried .csv with various configs.

Several records are uploaded, but process hangs because
"The record below has 56 tabs instead of 18. It may be missing some fields.
* Please correct the problem and reload.
* New records that have not yet been loaded will still be created if you choose the "Add New" option."
Error message goes on with the "record below" (product listing)

56 Tabs? The "Add New" option IS chosen.

I notice no direct support is included for users of this software, so I hope I can find the answer here. Thanks for any help.

Dan,

One thing you can try doing is make sure that the final column in your upload is one for which all products have a value. If your current end column does not have this, then cut and paste a column which is completely full on to the end. See the knowledgebase article below:
