Add product exclusion to coupons as well

We have over 15000 line items and need to exclude 50 or so from Free Shipping (ie 55 gallon drum, 5 gallon pail of industrial chemicals). As of right now, we have to select to include the ~14950 items instead of a 50 item exclusion list.

I agree that it would be better in many cases to have a product exclusion option for coupons. By only including products in coupons new products are missed on existing coupons. We have a handful of premium products that we never include in coupons, but every other product accepts a coupon. Our exclude list is much shorter than an include list which saves time as well when creating and editing coupons.

This could be addressed 2 different ways...creating an exclude product option under each coupon or an include/exclude coupon option for each product (like the free shipping option).

I've chirped in on this same enhancement request in the past...still would LOVE to see it. In fact, I have considered several promotions that would need a coupon...but rejected the idea because of the difficulty managing the few items that must be excluded.

Yeah, there are really difficulties in managing the few items that must be in the excluded list. Enhancement in that promotional discount will help you to have easier works. Why don't you use another improved system in creating coupons? The expert can work on it.

A product exclusion option would be so helful for our site. We have so many products and just a handful that don't qualify for discounts. We add new products so often that it's impossible to go back and add them all to all existing coupons. We have automated customer loyalty coupons that go out with all customer receipts, so we have hundreds of active coupons at all times. Is this something that shopsite is considering adding soon? Thanks so much for your consideration! This would be a huge help to us.

An exclusion option for Coupons will be in the next release of ShopSite, Version 11, due for release some time this summer.

You will be able to select certain products that will not be allowed for the coupon but all others will be allowed.
