configuring free local delivery

Can someone please help me figure out a shipping/delivery question?

I offer free local delivery for orders over $20. I want to define local as in zip code 711**. I've played around quite a bit with the Shipping tab and can't figure out a way to get this done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you really want the cart to validate and only allow it for people in that zip, you'd have to use the Free Shipping feature in Shopsite.

Since the set-up for the FREE shipping zip codes is exclusionary, you'd basically have to exclude (using wildcards) all the zip codes that DON'T qualify.

Alternately, you could just create a Shopsite shipping method with no cost, then use some Javascript in the cart to show or hide it based on the shipping zip code.
