Custom Field Checkbox Checkout -- Unfriendly Verbiage

Postby slocker » Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:48 am

Hello all,

In my checkout I have added a custom field checkbox that says "I have agreed to the terms and conditions etc..."

I want to make this required, but the default text / error that the user gets if they don't check it is really not user friendly.

It says "Please specify a valid value for the Agreement"
(Agreement is what I called the field)

Is there anyway to change or customize that language?

Thanks for reading, appreciate any feedback.

The initial part of the message is specified on the Preferences > Store Text > Messages screen in the field "Please specify a valid value for the: ". The name of the field that needs to be specified will be appended to the text you enter in that field. Note that the text is used in multiple places so it needs to be generic by nature.
