Background info:
- I am using ShopSite Starter
- My service provider is iPower
- My secure pages are on a shared server hosted by iPower
- The ShopSite website says "With our shopping cart you can: Have the shopping cart match your store's look and feel. http://www.shopsite.com/featuredstores/
- I have successfully created store pages
- These pages appear in my "List of Pages"
- I am able to change the header on my pages using the "background Image" field on the "Edit Page Layout" page of the ShopSite control panel.
My problem:
- I am unable to change the header on my "cart" and "checkout" pages
- The "cart" and "checkout" pages do not appear in my "List of Pages"
Questions:
- How do I change the header on my "cart" and "checkout" pages?
- Do the "cart" and "checkout" pages normally appear on the "List of Pages"
Comments:
- I am thinking that my problem has to do with the way iPower has the ShopSite is software installed and configured on their servers. Is that correct?

1. " How do I change the header on my "cart" and "checkout" pages? "
To include custom header and footer information in the shopping cart pages you can put the html to display them in the field "Text at top of Shopping cart (or Checkout or Thankyou) screen" and the Text at Bottom of Shopping cart (or Checkout or Thankyou) found on the Commerce setup > Order System > Shopping cart (or Checkout or Thanks You) screen.
If you input all of your header information (note you don't need the opening <html> <body> etc tags) in the field specified and then as the last thing add a <table><tr><td>. Then in the Text at Bottom of Shopping Cart (Checkout or Thank You) before your footer information add </td></tr></table> . This will make it so all of the ShopSite supplied information is in a neat table between your header and footer.
NOTE: If the url for your shopping cart, Checkout and Thank you pages begins with https make sure that you specify the secure url to any images on that page. You will have to check with IPower to find out what that url would be.
2. Do the "cart" and "checkout" pages normally appear on the "List of Pages"
These do not appear in the List of Pages in the backoffice of the store. You can have a link to the shopping cart from you pages by going to Merchandising > Order AnyWhere > Select a product and click > View Selected Html. Copy the View Cart code which would look something like this:
And paste it into one of the text fields for your pages or in the Header found under Preferences > Page header/footer (or Preferences > Layout settings) depending on your version of ShopSite.

Thank you very much. The information you provided to me was very useful. I was able to create a custom header on my shopping cart by following your instructions. The "checkout" and "thank you" pages are served from iPowers secure server so I have contacted them to find out how to upload an image to their secure server so I can link to it on my "checkout" and "thank you" pages.
