Can quantity pricing apply a $5 break?

Postby gkrehbiel » Wed Mar 03, 2010 12:56 pm

I have a series of five books that I sell on my store. The books at $19.95 for a download version, or $29.00 for a print version.

I give a $5 discount on orders of three or more. So I have all the downloads in a quantity pricing group, and all the print versions in a quantity pricing group. So if somebody orders three downloads they get the discount, but if they order two downloads and one print, they don't.

Is there a way for me to set it so that any combination of three of these products will result in $5 off the base price?

Thanks,

Greg

Put all books, both download and print, in the same quantity price group.

I should have added that you will also need to set up quantity discounts on all books. For the downloads: Quantity 1-2 $19.95, Quantity 3+ $14.95. For the print: Quantity 1-2 $29.95, Quantity 3+ $24.95. Then give them all the same quantity group code and it should work if they buy any combination of 3....oops...this would take of $5 per book for a total of $15...I don't think that is what you want. Sorry for confusing everyone, I'm not sure how to make this situation work.
