header placement issue after searching

I have a problem where my header appears intersecting the nav bar after performing a search using the modern template under shopsite manager.
We added a simple table to the header to display contact information on the right hand side, and it looks ok in each of the main pages except when we do a search.
After a search the table shifts down and covers the right hand side of the nav bar and looks very untidy. The company logo on the left remains unaffected.

Anyone come across this before?

Sounds like you have a tag in the wrong place or are missing one. Make sure all your <table></table> <tr></tr> <td></td> tags are there and don't have a typo such as missing a slash or right or left arrow.
