Recently my internet provider did an upgrade of the system while I was working on the 2 shopsite sites that I manage. The result was I lost my internet connection and the provider had to fix something at the telephone exchange b4 I got my ADSL connection back. Since then, I have been unable to use the computer to work on shopsite. I cannot upload any data to the site, assign items, add text - it will not save. I can use the computer for everything else. There is no problem with the hosting as I can use my other (older) PC, (I am running windows xp on both) to work on the sites. I thought it might have been a firewall problem so I totally removed it (Symantec). I also tried restoring my computer to an earlier date, using another browser but nothing has worked. I wonder if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. I rang up a computer repair place today and booked a visit but the phone call with them has not left me confident. cheers emmoff in Australia
