Checkout error

I am in the process of setting up ShopSite. I am trying to do a test transaction. I can get to the "cart contents" screen but when I click checkout it clears whatever I've typed into the Zip Code field and puts me back on the same screen. I can't get to the screen to fill out customer info and credit card info.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Are you using a custom shopping cart template? If so, try one of the default templates (like sc_default) and see if the same problem occurs.

Yeah I'm using one of the templates that came with ShopSite. I can't seem to find sc_default.

Could be a problem with your 'Shopping Cart secure URL' setting. Try going to Preferences -> Hosting Service, uncheck the 'Use SSL security in Shopping Cart' checkbox, then click the Save Changes button at the bottom. Then try your cart again.

If that fixes the problem, then there is something wrong with your 'Shopping Cart secure URL' setting, either it is not the correct URL or there is something wrong with the secure server's configuration (which is a hosting issue).
