Starting over after initial installation

I would like to integrate buttons like add_to_cart, view_cart, check_out, etc to my existing website pages. In going through the initial setup using the wizard as a trial to see how this would work, I wound up creating a store front. How can I get back to choosing the option to use Shopsite buttons and not have the store front? Do I need to reinstall Shopsite?

No, you do not need to reinstall.

After you have entered your products under the Products section go to Merchandising > Order Anywhere and you can get the links to put on your other pages.

Is there a way for shopsite to access my website database or do I have to reenter all products into shopsite?

ShopSite uses its own database and can't access another. If you can export your data in a tab delimted format then you can upload that to ShopSite under Utilites > Database.
Note that upload is only supported in ShopSite Pro and Manager and is not supported in Starter level stores.
