Transparent Logo

This should be an easy one- I'm a beginner.
I am attempting to upload a logo that was created with a clear background. I would like to place it in the Header. I have tried every file type available for exporting from Corel. I export with no background and it saves with no background. However, when I upload into ShopSite image, the files become corrupted, show a background, come with a black background, or do not show at all.

you need to save it as a gif format with transparency. I believe that png also has a transparent format that it can be saved as.

A clear background doesn't mean that it will be transparent. You need to specify that a particular color is the one that becomes transparent. Do a web search for transparent gif and you will get a number of hits on how to do that. Here is one: http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/coreld ... ortgif.htm
