I would like to install a feature on our checkout page requiring the customer to confirm the following statement:

"I have read, understand and agree to your guarantee terms."

Will ShopSite Pro accommodate such a feature?

How (what code) is this feature implemented?

What experience do anyone have with such a feature. I.E. Does it affect sales negatively?

The Custom Checkout Fields feature (configured in Commerce Setup -> Order System -> Checkout) in ShopSite Pro will handle this, and in fact, this scenario is one of the examples in the help documentation for this feature. See the following documentation pages:
