No traffic according to my back offic report, but...

I know for a fact that my site is getting hits every day because I get sign ups for my newsletter almost daily.

It's showing 0 traffic for many days, then 1150 hits all in one day. What's going on? Why is the back office not showing my daily traffic? Maybe I need to change a setting somewhere?

The traffic hits come from the web serve log. If you log is being rotated frequently then it may be empty when you access the reports feature.
