Can't get first-class mail to work

When I configure the USPS shipping, I can get it to display priority mail or express mail, but I can't get it to display first-class mail.

Any idea why?

Is your product less than 13 ounces (the weight limit for domestic First Class Mail)?

And do you have either First Class Letter, or First Class Flat, or First Class Parcel selected for the product in the USPS Shipping Container selection in Edit Product Info?

I'm not understanding something about the Shopsite implementation of the US Postal Service First Class rate. I've used the Lexiconn plug-in for a long time, which displays First Class for any order with a combined product weight of < 13 ounce (this is how it should work).

I was trying out the Shopsite US Postal Service options and am not seeing how to get it to behave similarly. It appears that it's always the weight and dimensions of individual products, as if they're always shipped in individual boxes.

How do I get the Shopsite-native USPS module to behave properly?

I assume I'm missing something.

Don,

See if you can get your store upgraded to the latest 10 SP1 r1 version. This may fix the problem you're seeing with built-in first class rates not combining items under 13 ounces into one package.
