Back Button? Is there one?

I was wondering what the easiest way to add a BACK button on the bottom of each page. I added a java code in the Preferences/Footer but it shows up on my index page also which I don't want. Does anyone know how to stop it with out manually adding it to 200 pages?

You could add it to a page template that you use on all of your pages but the home page.
