Reset Invoice Numbers

Is there anyway to reset and reuse the Invoice numbers? And can you control how many numbers are used?

I found the file SS7 is giving me a 14 digit number. It just started this 4 orders ago. I looked at the ordernum file and it only has 8084 in the file but my order numbers are like this "1248376002-2288" is there any way to keep them at 4 or 5 digits? How do I fix this?

This could happen if the file permissions or ownership of the ordernum file have changed so that ShopSite can no longer write to that file. You should contact your hosting provider about this. They should determine what system user your website is running as, and make sure that all of the files in your ShopSite Data Directory are owned by that user so that the data files are accessible by the ShopSite software.

Thanks for the tip. Restarted the server and fixed the problem.
