changing title tags

Hi,

I can't seem to find the answer in my shop to this, I specify i would like 10 products per page, after that shopsite generates the next page Auto,
hense: page 1,2,3,4 and so on.
which shows up on the server and url as ending in ss2.html etc

I specify the full url link name when i search shopsite pages and i find nothing, but what i want to be able to do is change the title tag name of the second page (not the URL) <title .......
I changed it in the file on the server to no success, made no difference when i viewed the page source code, and in fact when i regenerated the original page again in changed the second page title back again. Is there a solution to this? reason being is that Google seems to complain that i have duplicate content/titles.

I don't believe there is a way to change the title on pagination pages so that it would be different for each page generated.


Note that manually changing any html page that ShopSite generates will have no affect after the next publish since the page will be overwritten.
