Setting Up Hosting Service - Merchant Interface

I chose to use SSL for the Merchant Interface, saved and published the site.

The back office works except for the orders. I get a page cannot be displayed error message when I click on the orders icon.

If I uncheck the SSL in the Merchant Interface, I see everything.

How do I configure the back office to see orders using the SSL?

I have the following as the URL:

https://www.wellpointevitamins.com/cgi-bin/ss

Do you actually have a secure certificate for your domain name or are you using a shared one provided by your host?

If I go to your domain name at a secure url https://www.wellpointevitamins.com/

I get a warning mesage
www.wellpointevitamins.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)


So either your certificate is not valid or it is installed incorrectly. You need to check with your host to get that straightened out before you can configure ShopSite to use it.

It looks like https://www.wellpointevitamins.com/cgi-bin/ss shouldn't be your ShopSite secure URL anyway. This should be the secure equivalent of the 'Merchant CGIs URL' so, again, compare this secure setting to that regular one. It should probably be more like:

https://www.wellpointevitamins.com/ss

Host re-installed SSL cert - now working fine

Changed URL to earlier post.

It seems to be working and was able to get merchant key generated.
