Can I remove shipping calculator from checkout screen?

I'm having a problem with installing a saveasale script to my checkout screens. The problem is that it pops up after someone enters their zipcode to calculate shipping cost. I'd really like to be able to save the shipping cost for the next screen where they enter payment details.....or what would be ideal is if they could enter the zip code info, but make it so it didn't calculate that until the next screen.

Is this possible? At the very least, I'd like to remove that field altogether from my checkout screen.

All calculations are done on the first shopping cart screen. The billing/shipping address screen does no calculations so it would not be possible to move inputting of the zipcode to that screen since it is used to compute tax and shipping costs. If you don't want the zipcode field on the first screen the only thing you can do is to make sure that you are not using a feature that requires a zipcode such as Tax by zip, UPS, FedEx, USPS, custom shipping add on.
