Tricky discount problem

Hi all,

I have a number of specific products that teachers order throughout the year, and several of them order large enough quantities over time to qualify for discounts.

I'm trying to figure out how, using some combination of the shopsite discounts, reward program, associates and coupons, and any other features that may help, to do this-

1. Charge full price, or slightly discounted price (say, 5%) for the items as they are initially purchased.
2. Once a threshold is reached (for instance, $300 or perhaps 10 items) drop the price by 20% for all future orders by that same person.
3. if possible, generate a report of who's buying how much each month or year
4. Since I'm a very small company and I have hundreds of teachers and educators buying stuff, it needs to be as automated as possible.

Any ideas or suggestions? I'm using ShopSite Pro version 9.0 if that makes a difference.
