Issue with International Customers Selecting wrong shipping

Hi,

We use Shopsites shipping rate calculations of Shipping by Currency, UPS, and the Lexiconn custom shipping module.

The issue I am having is that when an international customer places an order there is no way to disallow the Shopsite shipping rate calculations of Shipping by Currency. So someone can select the UK from the country list and then select Standard Ground of $5.95 or whatever it is.

I have a message at the top of the cart, a link next to the country list that says International customers click here before ordering that opens a pop-up window but they don't stop all of them.

I can't find anywhere in Shopsite to not allow Standard Ground Shipping for select countries which would solve the problem.

My other choice is an alert box when someone selects any country other than the US from the drop down.

Does anyone have any ideas on a workaround to this?

I got it.

Solution was simple enough as I suspected using some Javascript provided by Lexiconn.

The best method would still be to disallow The Shopsite Calculated shipping from not being allowed for certain countries but for now the script will do the trick.
