ShopSite 7 to ShopSite 9 can't edit gift certificates

We upgraded from Shopsite 7 Pro to Shopsite 9 pro, and we can't edit old gift certifcates created with shopsite 7. When we select an older gift certifcate, we can view it, but when we click on edit nothing shows up.

I have determined that shopsite 9 is using https: to access the directory, while Shopsite 7 was using http.

Anyone know a work around. We can't resend, lock, or unlock the older certificates.

If you temporarily turn off the 'Use SSL security in ShopSite (Merchant Interface)' checkbox in Preferences -> Hosting Service, does that make any difference in the Gift Certificate menus? If it works with SSL turned off, this would seem to indicate some kind of problem with your SSL setup or with the SSL URLs configured in Preferences -> Hosting Service.
