Private customer registration

I am requiring registration on a website, but only want to limit access to authorized people being able to login. So I will create registrations for those people. No problem with that.

But how do I prevent other people from registering? I am using the CrossSell-Sky-sc template and I see the [-- IF SC_Registration --] area but I do not know how to remove the "I'm a new customer, I need to register" ability.
