Missing Confirmation page! Help.

I have gotten around to developing the cart portion of a site and it, seems that the confirmation page refuses to populate(I have checked the display confirmation box in the back office.) I tried using every and any of the default templates and they all have confirmation portions. However they all neglect the step, when one steps trough-the checkout process. I would like further enlightenment if possible. Has anyone else run into this?

Can you explain what screens you see when you place an order? With confirmation enabled there should be:
1. the initial cart screen, (cart)
2. a screen to enter billing and shipping addresses with payment info, (billing)
3. a screen that just displays what was entered on the previous screen (confirmation)
4. the thankyou screen. (thankyou)

If you are not seeing the confirmation screen make sure that the shopping cart template contains a confirmation section and that the Create a confirmation screen option is turned on on the Commerce Setup > Order System > Confirmation screen
Note that the Confirmation screen is a Pro and Manager level feature only it is not in the Starter version of ShopSite. So if your store is a starter level you won't be able to enable it.
