full product name doesn't fit in minicart detail

I'm using both the minicart detail and summary on my page. Initially the minicart summary is shown as a button and when you hover over it a box appears showing the minicart summary. Both of them work just fine, they both show the correct total, number of products, etc.

However in the minicart detail it only displays about 25 characters (including spaces) of the product name. For example our product called "Lensmate Sigma DP1 Adapter 52mm" is only displayed as "Lensmate Sigma DP1 Adapte". I asked my hosting company and they said it looks like it's how the cookies are being recorded and that it's hard coded into the Shop Site system.

Anyways I was wondering if there is a way to enable the cookie to collect and display more than just 25 character. Thanks!

The length is limited to 25 characters and can't be changed.
