Email receipt update

1. How do you remove the following from the bottom of the email receipt:

"Store URL: ....."
"This store is powered by ShopSite web catalog software."

2. I would like to add a statement as follows if a credit card was use:
If you purchased with a credit card, "EXPRESS IT" will appear as the company on your statement.

Where would be the best way to accomplish this?

The text "This store is powered by ShopSite web catalog software." Is coming from the field by that name on Preferences > Store Text > Receipts.

The url referenced is coming from the Preferences > Hosting Services > "My Store" URL:


I don't believe that it is possible to remove either of these from the text receipt since it doesn't use a merchant editable template.

With the html receipt it would depend on what the code is in the template. There is typically a "return to store" type of link and the Powered by ShopSite message probably doesn't display.

I didn't answer you second question.

I don't think there is a way to determine if a credit card was used and then change the text based on that. You could modify the "this store is powered..." by message with your text about the EXPRESS IT messasge. Note that if you are using an html receipt you would need to include the tag to display that text in the receipt.

Is there a way to add the company name, mailing address and contact numbers easily to the standard email receipt? As of now none of that data shows up for the customer.

Just put it in the "Powered by ShopSite" text field.

Note: you could also put it in the Please come again text area on Commerce Setup > Order System > Thank You > Text at the bottom of the
e-mail receipt: area.
