Turn off shopping cart update fields

I have to do some funky javascript to produce the correct variable price and then pass that to the shopping cart. I use optional drop down boxes also. I dont no want to allow the user to make edits within the shopping cart. Is there a way to just display the information within the cart and not have it show up as form fields?

Check the boxes by

Quantity can not be changed


Ordering Options can not be changed


Customer Text Entry can not be changed
