Remove "Select Payment Type" from Shopping Cart pa

How can I remove selecting the payment type from the Shopping Cart page and just have it on the Checkout page?

I found where to make the change in the SC_CORE include file, which removed the display of the payment type drop down, but then the cart would not let me go forward to the checkout page since payment type was not selected.
Where do you remove editing for payment type selection on the Shopping Cart page?

If you only have credit card payment types enabled, then the payment tye selection will automatically only appear on the checkout screen (i.e. no PayPal, or Check, etc, options can be ebabled). If you have a non-credit card payment type enabled, however, then the selection will appear on the initial cart screen so that when the shopper makes the selection and continues to the checkout screen the proper fields related to their payment selection will be displayed.
