I've been live for about 3 months. I've been downloading my orders from SS 8.3 and importing them into QB Pro 2005 using iif file format. I set the option for a Sales order on the import. All has worked great up until this week. Somehow I messed up , so I no longer see an account name listed in the import file. It was going into SALES:Shopsite as the default account. I can edit the iif file manually and get it to work, but this is pretty tedious.
The error message comes up in QB when I try to import the iif file. It says that there is a missing account designation and the it asks Cancel or Continue. QB can't seem to assemble the order due to missing account name. The account was defaulted to Sales:Shopsite. I see that the account is missing this information under the products and under gift cert, shipping, coupon etc. By entering an account for each product in my database, I can get the account for the products to come in, but it is still missing from the other "non" product items and I can't see how to edit the account on thes items. Things like coupon, gift cert, surcharge, shipping etc.
To try and fix this, I uploaded an account name to each product, this fixes the missing account number in the products, but not the other items listed in the file. My Site host seems clueless about this issue and I can't really afford to use the 3rd party software mentioned here in the forum so I'm looking for a way to reset these account names so they export correctly.
