Fill in shipping address last

I'm using Shopsite Manager 7.1 and was just called by a custoemr saying she was filling out the information on the Check Out Stand and gets this error message:

"Fill in shipping address last"

She swears she's filling in everything correctly. Any idea on what's happening and how to fix it?

You may have checked the "last", meaning Last Name, to be required but have not checked the box to have it display on the screen. Go to Commerce Setup > Order System > Checkout screen and make sure that both Display and Required check boxes are checked for the "Last" field in both the billing and shipping address sections.

Thanks for the quick response. Both boxed are checked by default and I can't check or uncheck them.

It seems as if the error message is referring to filing in the address last as oppossed to a last name.

I'm pretty sure it is referring to the Last name field in the Shipping Address. (Engineers are cryptic in their error messages)

Do you get any error if you try to place an order in the store? Try placing an order and leave the shipping address last name field blank and see if you get the same error.
