Using OrderAnywhere Linker

Postby priscila » Sun Oct 28, 2007 11:52 pm

If I use OrderAnywhere Linker , then should I use two databases? One in ShopSite & other in Php MyAdmin? If not, which database I have to use? Shopsite or Php MyAdmin?

Another thing, is there any option by which we can select product information from Products table of ShopSite using any query?

If you are using the OrderAnywhere buttons, you would need to use the ShopSite database to list your basic product information. ShopSite will create OrderAnywhere buttons for those products which are listed in the ShopSite database. If you would still like to use your other database then yes, you would need to use two databases.

Putting 'Add to Cart' button using 'OrderAnywhere Linker'

Postby priscila » Wed Nov 07, 2007 9:09 pm

I added products into ShopSite DB using SQLite. After that, I saw nothing in OrderAnywhere Linker>Show all HTML in the Back Office. Then, I added 1 product directly from Back Office which had value (in OrderAnywhere Linker>Show selected HTML ). I put these products in a page with 'Add to Cart' button & used that value for all products ( with different item number ).Then it works fine & go to the Shopping Cart Page. Is it the proper solution?
Every time I add a product from Back Office it shows different Store Id. So, which id I should use?

It doesn't matter which encrypted storeid that you use as long as it is one that has been generated from your store and not from someone elses.
