Customer Registration and Wholesale Pricing

Post by Britain »

Is there a way to add a customer to a group and apply a different set of pricing to that group? In other words, I want to be able to have one of my trade (wholesale) customers register his information and then assign him to a particular group (i.e. Tier1 Pricing) and then apply a seperate pricing structure to that group. The coupon option just doesn't cut it as we can't not just apply a percentage discount to all of our product line.

Thanks,
Britain

I have the same issue. We are exclusively a B2B outfit. Having my customers not know the price until the end of the order is not acceptable. Is there any plans to present discounted prices to the customer when they are browsing (ie before the order).

I just taught a ShopSite class and one of our students/customers wants to do this.

I can imagine making a special Wholesalers page with special products just for them, but is there a better way that doesn't require setting up additional products?

Yea, this is becoming a major issue for me at the moment. I would really like it if when a trade customer logs in, I can assign them to a group, and they would get their specific pricing. I wonder if I can set-up any of the additional product fields with this info?

Can anyone write me code for this functionality? I would be willing to pay for your services.
