Google checkout foreign country error

We have selected in the ShopSite State/Country section the countries we would like to ship to. I understand that Google checkout is supposed to use these countries but when checking out through Google and filling in your personal data, any country but the U.S. gives you the error message that we don't ship to that country.

Anyone else run into this or know what I could be doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong, Google just implemented a new requirement recently that ShopSite did not know about until wuite a while after the latest version was released. Google Checkout will only accept orders from your own country unless they are provided with a specific list of countries that you will accept Google Checkout orders from. So until the next version of ShopSite is released with this new 'feature' available to satisfy this new Google Checkout requirement, then you will only be able to accept Google Checkout payments from shoppers in your own country.

One of the reasons we went with shopsite was because our old Shopping Cart did not handle foreign customers well. we need this fix.
