Importing a Database

Can we import a product database while leaving the products there in place, or does the import replace the entire prior database?

Yes, You can import new products without removing old products. The import will allow you to specify if you want to add new products or ignore products if they don't already exist. If products do exist (Name and/or SKU match) the products will be updated with information in the upload file.
