Product Comparison

Hello:

We are looking for a way to have a product comparison feature in our site.

I searched the forum and the help documentation and came up with nothing.

Has anyone implemented a product comparison feature. By this we mean allowing the shopper to choose say five products to compare side by side.

The ideas we came up with so far on this are:

1. We would have to modify the more information page to include a check box. (It could be labeled, check this box to compare to other products)

2. Feature that when clicked, would populate a page (Ok, so we need a page to output the selected items to) that lists the five (or up to five products side by side). Perhaps it would be a table featuring:

Products Name
Sale Price
Description
Link to ordering


We would be interested in hearing from anyone that has set this up.
