Apply coupons automatically

We're using SHop Site Pro 7.1. Is it possible to set up a coupon so it is automatically applied when a certain dollar figure is reached?

No.

Coupons can only be applied automatically if they are assigned to a group and a member of that group signs in when they place an order.

You can have a discount applied based on the total value of the items in the shopping cart. This is configured under Merchandising > Discount Schedule (Pro stores only) The discount can be configured for a percent off or a dollar amount off.
