Postby GiftSpecialists » Wed Mar 07, 2007 2:44 pm

Is there any way to do a spell check for pages and products?

Thanks for any help,
Rick,

There are several web-based spell-check programs that will run through the pages of your site:

Google "spell check website" for more.

Also, the Firefox browser has a built-in spell-checker for text areas, so when you are adding or editing pages or products, it will automatically underline misspellings in things like Product Descriptions, Text 1, Text 2, extra page and product fields, etc etc. It doesn't check single-line form fields, and of course if you have a lot of data and the text area has scroll arrows because of it, you would have to scroll down to check for misspellings that may be highlighted, but it is still very useful. In fact, it has already helped me correct at least 3 misspelled words in this very post.
