When you edit a reward in your rewards program, the "publish" tab does not appear as when you make other edits across shopsite, but it is still necessary to regenerate your store to take effect. For consistency and clarity, I think the publish tab should pop up as it does after, for example, changing the price of a product.

Isn't it interesting that no one, including Shopsite, has responded at all? I'm with you on this. It seems like an easy enhancement to write. What's the problem with them?

Publish only deals with the store general pages and products. Other pages such as shopping cart or customer registration, where rewards are displayed, are generated on the fly and will use the settings in effect at the time the page is displayed. So there is no need to publish after changing a reward since there is nothing dealing with rewards on any store page.
