Can one do an "if, else" for the [-- PrevNext --] tag

[Mister.44]

Well - the [-- PrevNext --] isnt alwasys pretty - and it isnt always needed.
Is it possible to have an "if,else" statement so that if there are less than
the needed number of items for pagenation, it wont display.

Something like this:

[-- IF PrevNext --]
<div>[-- PrevNext --]</div>
[-- ELSE --]
#do nothing
[-- END_IF --]

I tried it once - and it didnt work - but I thought i would ask the experts

There is no "if,else" with the [-- PrevNext --] tag.

Have you tried modifying the style associated with the tag to change how
it is displayed?
