Hi - and thank you for your reply. I was aware of the "Arrange" Command as
I've used that on a specific page already. Problem is, if you use the
Arrange, it no longer alphabetizes. Basically, if you add products to
inventory and your price lists are alphabetized automatically (which is the
whole point -- automation), then the tab page links get alphabetized as
well. If you use the Arrange, then you can assign the products by number,
but..it then automatically switches sorting to "none" meaning newly added
products are no longer sorted by name (new products are now on the bottom of
your price list). So, you go back to sort by name, and now the tabs-links
get alphabetized too; in other words, you can't have both. It would be
painful to have to keep it on "sort by name", and after products are
entered, having to constantly go back to the arrange option and assign the
links back to their regular places..particulalry when a number of newly
stocked items arrive daily.
I did however, figure it out in a different way. I sort by both products and
pages by name, and I renamed my pages to A1_pagenamehere A2_pagenamehere,
etc.. Now they'll always be sorted before the actual products as I assigned
each link a specific spot.
Thanks again for the help

Use the Arrange Items screen. You can enter a number with a decimal point
to put items between other items. For example if you have added two items
that were sorted alphabetically say cat and rabbit and now you add dog the
original order on the Arrange Items screen will be
1 cat
2 rabbit
3 dog
in the box for dog enter a number (like 1.5 or 1.1 etc) which is between
the two items where you want to insert it and click Sort As Specified to
rearrange the items.
